In loving memory of
Pam Farr

To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die
Support my challenge to fight for a world without pancreatic cancer
💜 I’m doing it again… but this time, it’s in memory of Pam. 💜
Back in February, I took on the challenge of running 50 miles to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK. 💜
Sadly, pancreatic cancer has become even more personal to me this year, and since the February challenge.
My wonderful godmother, Pam Farr, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in January 2026 and sadly passed away in April.
The illness took so much from Pam in such a short space of time. She spent her final months in hospital and a care home, was bedbound and endured multiple stays in intensive care.
But when I think of Pam, that isn't what I want to remember.
I remember her kindness. Her love of animals, gardening and antiques. The person she was, the joy she brought and the memories she gave us. She was so much more than the illness that took her.
So this September, I’m taking on another challenge — walking 84km to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
The 84km represents the 84 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in the UK.
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.
Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.
This one is for Pam. 💜
84km for Pam.
For her memory.
For everyone affected by pancreatic cancer.
And for a future where fewer families have to lose someone they love.
💜 I will remember her. I will honour her. I will walk for her.
