Support my challenge to fight for a world without pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 84km for the 84 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in the UK.
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.
Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 84km remember those we've lost, and stand with those affected by pancreatic cancer.
Please make a donation to support me, and together...
We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.

My Tribute Post

15 years ago today Mum died from Pancreatic Cancer. This photo was taken just 3 months before at Mum's 60th birthday party, a matter of weeks after diagnosis. She was wearing her "spare" wedding hat as she might as well get some use out of it! We knew it was most likely to be her last birthday as survival rates at that time were generally less than a year and it had already spread to her liver. We had hoped for a last Christmas though. I was about 2 months pregnant when she died - although I was able to tell her in time, she never even got to see a scan picture, never got to find out she was getting a granddaughter, let alone have a chance to meet her.
