To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die

Support our challenge to end pancreatic cancer

Walking for Pam 💜

This September, our team will be walking 84km for the 84 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in the UK.

But for us, this challenge is personal.

We are walking in memory of our wonderful godmother, Pam Farr, who lost her life to pancreatic cancer in April 2026.

Pam first became unwell in November 2025 and was admitted to hospital at the end of December. She received her diagnosis in January 2026 and spent the final months of her life in hospital and a care home, including multiple stays in intensive care. Pancreatic cancer took so much from Pam in such a short space of time. It took away her independence, her mobility and, eventually, her life.

But that is not how we want to remember her.

Pam was so much more than the illness that took her from us.

We remember her for her incredible kindness, her love of animals, her passion for gardening and her fascination with antiques. We remember the person she was, the love she gave, the memories she created and the people whose lives she touched.

So this September, every kilometre we walk is for Pam — not for the illness that took her, but for the woman she was beyond it.

We walk to remember her.
We walk to honour her.
We walk for everyone affected by pancreatic cancer.

And we walk in the hope that one day, fewer families will have to watch someone they love lose so much to this devastating disease.

Please consider donating to support our challenge and Pancreatic Cancer UK.

84km for the 84 lives lost.
For Pam. For her memory. For a future beyond pancreatic cancer. 💜

We will remember her. We will honour her. We will walk for her.
