Support my challenge to fight for a world without pancreatic cancer
Thank you for visiting my page. This September, I am taking on the Remember September challenge to walk 84km in memory of my dear first cousin—who was truly a big brother to me—Professor Babatunde “Tunde” Ogunnaike.
Tragically, Tunde was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and passed away just five short months later. It was a sudden, devastating blow to everyone who loved him.
Because of how quickly this aggressive disease took him, I am stepping up to fight back. I am walking 84km this month to represent the 84 people who die from pancreatic cancer every three days in the UK.
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK and notoriously difficult to catch early. Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.
The funds raised on this page will go directly to Pancreatic Cancer UK to fund
cutting-edge research for early diagnosis, better treatments, and vital support
for families facing this heartbreaking reality.
Every step I take is for Tunde—to remember his wisdom, his music, and his laughter. And also to stand with all those affected by pancreatic cancer

Walking 84km for Tunde: A Tribute to a Brilliant Soul Thank you for visiting my page. This September, I am taking on the Remember September challenge to walk 84km in memory of my dear first cousin who was truly a big brother to me - Professor Babatunde “Tunde” Ogunnaike. To the academic world, Tunde was a giant: a world-renowned chemical engineer, author, and dean. He was profoundly talented, wise, and deeply humble. Tunde was a true Renaissance man, a gifted poet and an excellent musician who played the guitar and keyboard so beautifully. More than anything, he was a man of strong Christian faith who brought light and joy into every room. He had a brilliant sense of humor and could make us laugh so effortlessly.
