Thompsons UK Ltd are delighted that Pancreatic Cancer UK (and The Allan Burton Memorial Foundation) is the chosen charity of The Road Transport Christmas Ball 2022.
We will be raising vital funds in memory of Allan Burton, Thompsons founder, who died of pancreatic cancer aged just 59.
For anyone, a diagnosis of cancer is a devastating, life-changing moment. For people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, they are faced with unimaginable odds, with 1 in 2 losing their lives within just 3 months.
Pancreatic Cancer UK is here to support everyone affected by the disease. With 10,000 more people receiving a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer every year, they help patients and families cope through their support and information services, and provide hope towards a better future through campaigning and funding vital research.
