I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Since a junior doctor I have been exposed to pancreatic cancer. It often presents late and therefore limited treatment options.
We as a family recently lost an exceptional woman to pancreatic cancer who died alone at a hospice under the black cloud of COVID-19. Pat was extremely strong and in her name I hope to raise awareness of this illness.
I’m taking on Challenge 24 at home to raise money for this vital cause because 24 people are still dying every day from pancreatic cancer.
