I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month

Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer. More than half of people die within three months of diagnosis.

Survival rates for other cancers have improved dramatically in recent years. But decades of underfunding mean we still don’t have the tests and treatments to tackle this disease. People with pancreatic cancer have been overlooked and ignored for far too long.

That’s why I’m fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK and I'd really appreciate your support. Your donations will support vital, world-leading research, ensure specialist nurses are there to take more calls and fuel campaigns to drive positive change.

Together, we will bring more than hope to people affected by pancreatic cancer.

My donations could fund...

40

hours with a nurse on our support line

19

hours of early diagnosis research

Challenge completed

Last day of the challenge and I've completed my target miles and am so pleased and surprised to say I'm  on track to raise £1000+ .Big big thanks to all of you  wonderfully kind and generous friends and family members for making this possible. You're amazing.

Llandrindod Wells Lake

My dear Dad loved to walk here. And enjoy the views from the cafe. He was very proud to tell people he'd done this circuit the day before being admitted to hospital for the final time. A quiet hero

Thank you amazing people

I am humbled and touched to say that your generosity and kindness means I have now raised over £800 for PCAM. Thank you all for helping Pancreatic Cancer UK to *bring more than hope*

Bradnor Hill

The golf course here was quiet yesterday! So lucky to be able to enjoy this beauty. And coffee and a cheese scone in Kington's excellent Border Bean rounded off my snowy 4.8 mile walk.

Eastnor Deer Park

Friday's walk through Eastnor Deer Park near Ledbury was inspiring. It was wonderful to reconnect with a good friend too.  And of course there was food and drink at The Woodshed.

Croft Castle

Another favourite walk. A beautiful day. Five more miles added to my total. And back to the tea room before it closed!

Weobley Walk

My T shirt arrived on Friday. And yesterday it was a welcome extra layer for a nice easy 4 mile stretch round historic Weobley.. Did what Dad would have done and enjoyed a coffee and a scone in the Green Bean Cafe before setting off

David's Seat

5 mile Dartmoor circuit this afternoon. Beautiful autumn colours. Happy memories too.
