This September, I'm walking 84km for the 84 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in the UK.
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.
Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 84km remember those we've lost, and stand with those affected by pancreatic cancer.

Hello! Thanks for visiting. I haven't done a challenge for a while, but, after hearing of the diagnosis of yet another family friend, I thought now is as good a time as any to get walking. In doing so I'm of course remembering my dear Dad, Nick, who fought bravely and finally succumbed to pancreatic cancer in April 2023. It is a cruel disease, as symptoms are vague and difficult to spot, it is often only diagnosed once it has spread. This often means limited treatment options and time. We've lost numerous loved ones to this cancer, so I hope you will support me in this challenge, either with kind words, encouragement, arranging a walk with me, or giving what you can.
