This September, I'm walking 84km for the 84 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in the UK.

Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.

Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 84km remember those we've lost, and stand with those affected by pancreatic cancer.

We've done it - Remember September challenge completed.

Hi folks

30th September was the final day of our walking challenge to raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer research and support of sufferers and their families.

What an amazing bunch you are ❤️

We've had some fantastic donations and in return we've got ourselves moving. Me and Viv set a target of 84km each for the month, that's 168km between us. I'm pleased to say that we smashed that and walked 283km between us.

Dave also joined the challenge and walked 213km on his own!

Thanks to your wonderful generosity, me and Viv raised a total of £1476.39 including gift aid.

Dave raised another lovely amount of £263.25 inc gift aid.

Together, we've raised an amazing £1476.39 and that's due to your fantastic generosity.

This cause is close to our hearts and we did it in memory of Richard Ryan (Viv's husband) and Peter Ryan, Richards twin.

Mid Challenge Progress

Well, yesterday was 14 days/2 weeks completed.

Today is day 15, mid way through the 30 day challenge.

I had a bit of a slow start because I fell downstairs and hurt my back. But it's fine because although it does me down, walking helps to loosen things up.

The target for the whole month is 84km.

So far I've completed 69km and still 16 days to go. I'm really happy with this.

Thanks to everyone who has donated. I'll post final distance and some pics at the end of the month.
