I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Hi all,
Thank you for your support of my upcoming Missing My Mom Challenge 24.
As many of you know, my mom Ruth died earlier this year from pancreatic cancer that had spread to her liver. From diagnosis to her passing, only one month went by. I miss her every day, but I vow to do my part to prevent even one other daughter having to go through this experience. So I’m taking on Challenge 24 for Pancreatic Cancer UK, in recognition of the fact that in the UK 24 people die from pancreatic cancer every day. I will run (or perhaps a little walk!) a total of 24 miles in one week (17 to 23 November). Thank you for supporting me!
Pancreatic cancer is the toughest of cancers. Tough to diagnose, tough to research, tough to treat and tough to survive. With your help we can transform the future for everyone with pancreatic cancer.
