This September, I'm walking 197km for the 197 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 7 days in the UK.
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.
Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 197km remember those we've lost, and stand with those affected by pancreatic cancer.

We only lost Laura on 3rd August 2026 so its all very raw. Anyone who has seen someone battle this horrific cancer knows the emotional toll it takes on everyone. She fought everyday with every cell in her body to maximise the time she got to spend with her daughters (aged 12 & 7). Life can be too cruel sometimes. I will be thinking of her with every step I take and hoping that every pound I raise will stop people having to go through this pain.
