I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
On 19th September 2025 myself, Rita and Martin will be climbing Snowdon to raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer in memory of Paul Deakin.
Rita and I met in 2000 at work and have become good friends, with Martin and Paul also becoming very close friends.
Paul walked Rita down the aisle on their wedding day and was so proud.
We were all devastated and shocked when just 3 weeks after diagnosis Paul sadly passed away on 8th October 2022.
Paul not only left a huge hole in my life but also everyone who was lucky enough to have known him.
He was simply the best and is missed every single day.
Hopefully the money raised will go some way to helping with early diagnosis of this truly terrible disease.

We are Pancreatic Cancer UK.
We go above and beyond for everyone affected by this disease. Right now, half of people with pancreatic cancer die within three months of diagnosis. Families are left with only hope to hold onto. They need more. So, we do more.
We bring more breakthroughs through research, more change through campaigning, and more support through our expert nurses. We make more noise because people have gone unheard. We are relentless because the disease is ruthless. We care more because people feel forgotten.
