Support my challenge to fight for a world without pancreatic cancer
My lovely Dad died in 2000 from pancreatic cancer and is much missed. When he was ill Dad willingly took part in a research trial which aimed to further the knowledge and understanding of how to successfully treat pancreatic cancer. I have decided to take this opportunity to continue supporting such valuable research.
I'm walking 84km for the 84 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in UK.
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.
Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 84km remember those we've lost, and stand with those affected by pancreatic cancer.
My dog Mia (pictured above as a puppy ) will be helping me!
Any support with this cause would be very gratefully received whether pounds or pence. Meanwhile I will get walking! Many thanks … Nikki
