I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Unfortunately I never got the chance to meet one of my grandpas, Peter Rosenberg. He died when my dad was just 21.
With my Bar Mitzvah (the path way to Jewish adulthood) approaching I felt that it would be a good opportunity to raise some money to mark this occasion in his memory.
My grandpa died from Pancreatic cancer which is one of the few cancers for which the survival rate has not improved in 40 years and roughly 9600 people are diagnosed with it each year in the UK.
Along with the support of the David Lloyd club, Leeds we have chosen to do a 13 hour bike ride in which I will keep a bike moving for 13 hours for the 13 years leading up to my Bar Mitzvah. This will be a fun all day event where family and friends will be coming along to join in and support me!
Pancreatic cancer is tough to diagnose, tough to treat and tough to research. Please support me and help make a difference to pancreatic cancer.
