I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
As many of you know I am running the Manchester marathon in April. I decided to set myself this challenge to try and raise money to help find a cure and provide better treatment for patients who have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
For those of you who don’t know my Grandad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer after several admission in hopsital with pancreatitis, in September 2019. He is due to undergo major surgery in the new year which will mean he has to spend a week in ICU followed by 2 weeks recovering after. He will then need chemotherapy after all of this!
I want to raise as much money as possible so that the best possible treatment can be found for patients with pancreatic cancer and give them the best possible chance of fighting this horrible disease!
