This September, I'm walking 84km for the 84 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in the UK.

Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.

Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.

So this September, I'm doing it for Jane..I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 84km to remember those we've loved & lost, and stand with those affected by pancreatic cancer.

I last walked for PCUK in 2024, when my amazing friend Diane had been diagnosed & died within 4 months. My Bestest had been diagnosed just a few weeks later, devastating news. But she fought tooth & nail with her mantra of..' medical miracles!!' & a rye smile & a wink. My darling Jane succumbed to this vile & loathsome disease on April 24th this year. My hearts broken...I dont know how to mend it...49 years of friendship, love, laughter & frolics...gone. So ive picked up my trainers to see if I can shake some melancholy & maybe raise a little money for her...she loved a cause...niw shes mine...💔❤️‍🩹💜
