I am raising money for pancreatic cancer research in memory of my lifelong friend Mike Williams. Who despite having pancreatic cancer himself completed the challenge of walking 60 miles for pancreatic cancer research raising almost £6000 whilst undergoing treatment last year.

Mike was a wonderful family man and a great showman singing in bands all his life. He walked off the stage in 2025 and left a massive hole in the lives of everyone who knew him.

I'm sorry Mike my target is a lot lower and my knees dont allow such distances but I will do my best in your memory

This September, I'm walking 84km for the 84 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in the UK.

Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.

Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 84km remember those we've lost, and stand with those affected by pancreatic cancer.
