A Big Thankyou
To all who sponsored me for my recent cycle ride, a BIG THANKYOU! You have all been very kind. Support for this needy cause exceeded my expectations, and I am delighted. On Friday 21st August, I cycled: Oulton Broad to Norwich, Norwich to Holt (Norfolk), Holt to Thorpe End, Thorpe End to Norwich, then took the train from Norwich to Great Yarmouth and cycled from Great Yarmouth to Oulton Broad. Total: 131 kilometres/81miles. This is six miles above the target of 75. Thoroughly enjoyed the cycle, and glad I took it in stages😃 Share
Cycle for Paul
Eight years ago, a gentleman whose parents regularly attended my church, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. I had opportunity to visit him at hospital and home. He fought the illness for a year, but sadly died at 59. His wife gave me his bicycle to thank me for all the times I'd visited him. Unfortunately, Paul is only one of many who have suffered from one of the most cruel forms of cancer.
