This last year has been pretty tough. Having someone we love diagnosed with this awful illness has been heartbreaking. We have decided we want to try and raise some money by 24 miles. My two daughters are going to be the main fundraisers they are both 9 and 6 and seeing a member of their family slipping away has been hard to watch. We want to help support the amazing work that is done by everyone who supports all cancer patients but this type of cancer is our chosen one to fundraise for. If you can donate a tiny amount, whatever you can to help us towards this great challenge.
Pancreatic cancer is tough – tough to diagnose, tough to treat and tough to research. And, in the uncertain times we’re currently experiencing, things have become even tougher for people with pancreatic cancer.
I’m taking on Challenge 24 at home to raise money for this vital cause because 24 people are still dying every day from pancreatic cancer.
