In loving memory of
Papa John
To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die
Support my challenge to fight for a world without pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 84km for the 84 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in the UK.
I'm doing this in honour of my lovely Dad "Papa John" who was taken away from us too early by this horrid disease.
Although this was over 17 years ago, it seems that the odds of surviving this diagnosis has not improved since.
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.
I don't know about you, but I found the statistics quite shocking when I read them. 84 deaths every 3 days in the UK alone!
Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 84km remember those we've lost, and stand with those affected by pancreatic cancer.
Please make a donation to support me, and together...
We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.
