In loving memory of
Mike Talbot
To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die
Support my challenge to fight for a world without pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 84km for the 84 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in the UK.
My profile pictures is my father-in-law Mike Talbot. He lost his brave battle with Pancreatic cancer in 2009. I am walking in his memory and all like him who were taken too early by this horrible disease. Mike had the biggest smile and wicked sense of humour, I will be thinking of him every step of the way, hopefully with a smile as I remember some of his jokes, especially the ones where my mother-in-law says “no Michael”
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.
Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 84km remember those we've lost, and stand with those affected by pancreatic cancer.
Please make a donation to support me, and together...
We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.

Well done Jon. I know how much the Powell family miss Mike, as I miss my Mum and my husband misses his father who both lost their battle to PC.
