I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
My Mum died in April 2020, only 7 weeks after the GP said he thought she might have Pancreatic Cancer.
Pancreatic Cancer UK produce information packs for families facing the loss of a loved one. The information in this pack was incredibly helpful to us. In this sudden, unfamiliar situation, it told us what to expect and was always on hand to refer to. This knowledge definitely contributed to the quality of the time we had with Mum in her last weeks and days.
I am running 35 miles in November to raise money to fund information packs for other families and to fund research to improve outcomes in the future.
