Support my challenge to fight for a world without pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 84km for the 84 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in the UK.
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.
Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK. Sadly when my Dad was diagnosed in 2015 it was already too late to save him so I'm walking in the hope that we can try and stop it being too late for others.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 84km remember those we've lost, and stand with those affected by pancreatic cancer.

Day 1 saw me manage to complete 5km, which I am really pleased about. I talked with my friends at work about my Dad, remembering the good time and funny stories and it really helped me to remember why I am doing this challenge. If the funds I raise can help just one person have longer with their loved one then it will have been worthwhile. Share
