I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

On 29th June, my stepdad Steven should have been celebrating his 60th birthday.

Sadly he passed away last year after a tough battle with pancreatic cancer, meaning this will be the first birthday we spend without him.

To honour his memory, I've decided to take on a challenge that reflects the milestone he never got to reach whilst also reflecting the sheer strength and determination he had throughout. I’ll be walking 60km in a single day on what would have been his 60th birthday - 1km for every year. 

I know it will be physically and emotionally challenging as this will be the longest I’ve ever travelled on foot, well and truly top trumping last years marathon. 

I wanted to do something meaningful in his memory and it makes sense to raise money for a cause that means a lot to me and my family at the same time.

Every mile I walk will be for him, and I'd be incredibly grateful for any support, whether that's a donation, sharing this page, an encouraging message or cheering me on along the way.

Thank you for helping me celebrate his life and remembering him on a day that will always be special.

We go above and beyond for everyone affected by this disease. Right now, half of people with pancreatic cancer die within three months of diagnosis. Families are left with only hope to hold onto. They need more. So, we do more.

We bring more breakthroughs through research, more change through campaigning, and more support through our expert nurses. We make more noise because people have gone unheard. We are relentless because the disease is ruthless. We care more because people feel forgotten.
