In loving memory of
Lynn Smith
O3/05/1955 - 12/07/2026
In memory of my amazing, caring mum in law, she was full of fun, loved life, her family and friends. An inspiration to everyone who knew her.
Support my challenge to fight for a world without pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 84km for the 84 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in the UK.
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.
Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 84km remember those we've lost, and stand with those affected by pancreatic cancer.
Please make a donation to support me, and together...
We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.

Wow Jane. Keep us up to date with training and as you get closer to the day. Such a challenge but an important fund raiser. Well done in advance. In the words of a young lad I know with a different but equally awful cancer, when I asked him what I should do if I found my night walk difficult, 'just keep going'. And if I felt like giving up, 'don't'. And I didn't because for so many walking away from their trials so sadly isn't an option.
