On 12th October, I’ll be running the Bournemouth Half Marathon in support of Pancreatic Cancer UK. I was inspired to take on this challenge after a relative’s cancer diagnosis — a reminder of the strength, pain, and resilience so many face every day.
Pancreatic cancer is ruthless: half of people diagnosed die within just three months. Families deserve more than hope — they deserve breakthroughs, better support, and lasting change. That’s what Pancreatic Cancer UK fights for, and why I’m proud to run for them.
