I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Back in 2014 me and my family sadly lost my Grandad, Charlie, to pancreatic cancer. He was so loved by all the family and all the family friends, people knew him all over Darlington and not a single person had a bad word to say about him. He was so caring, loving and open minded. He never judged anybody for anything and accepted every single person for who they are and I continue to miss him very much so to this day.

Unfortunately we were unaware of my grandads pancreatic cancer, it only came to light following his death and the post-mortem results. He thought he had a stomach bug!!

My grandad was not the type to seek medical care but even if he had the mortality rate is high for pancreatic cancer due to often presenting little to no symptoms until it is a little to late.

Pancreatic cancer is tough – tough to diagnose, tough to treat and tough to research!!! 

I’m Standing Out to raise money for this vital cause by shaving my head in order to raise money for this charity!

Why I am going to shave my head to raise money!
