I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
On 31st May this year, my Dad Paul Souter lost his 6-month fight with Pancreatic Cancer.
He was an effervescent, thrill-seeking, vivacious, funny, adventurous, curious explorer with a big appetite for life. He was kind, caring and jovial.
But over those 6 months, a disease so aggressive and progressive took him away from himself.
Pancreatic cancer is tough to diagnose, tough to treat and tough to research.

What I'm doing...........
My Dad (among many other things) was a glider pilot. He spent most of his spare time up in the skies teaching others and enjoying soaring over the south downs.
And so, in honour of this, on the 11th October, I am going to be doing a Wing Walk at the AeroSuperBatics airfield in Cirencester.
I, like my Dad before me, will take to the skies on the top wing of a Boeing Stearman biplane and experience an exciting series of flypasts, zoom climbs, steep dives and banks, all to raise money for this very important cause.
I hugely appreciate your support in making this happen and hitting my fundraising goal. If you would like to come on the 11th October to watch then you will be most welcome too!
