I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Finding out you’re a ticking time bomb for cancer is one of the hardest things I have ever had to deal with mentally and emotionally. In 2018 a cyst was found in my pancreas however I was told due to my age and the look of it nothing would come of it. Throughout 2019 I had every single symptom of Pancreatic Cancer. I was referred to the most incredible specialist and I became one of the lucky ones. Upon removal of half of my pancreas and my spleen I am no longer that time bomb. The fight was hard and it was real and to this day I am still fighting. So in June my scars, my mask and I are walking 24 miles for the 24 stars that are taken each day and for more research and awareness to be bought forward. Age is just a number, no one should have to fight, we’re all in this together.
Pancreatic cancer is tough – tough to diagnose, tough to treat and tough to research. And, in the uncertain times we’re currently experiencing, things have become even tougher for people with pancreatic cancer.
I’m taking on Challenge 24 at home to raise money for this vital cause because 24 people are still dying every day from pancreatic cancer.

24 Miles Down...why not go a few more!
On Tuesday 9th I finished my 24 miles!! Woohoo!!!! I was so happy and so proud I achieved this that I have decided to increase my mileage goal up to 40 miles by the 24th of June! My little legs have got a lot more to places to walk and a bit more money to raise! Let’s go people! 🙃 Share
