Join Georgia and Anna in our fundraiser to support Pancreatic Cancer UK.
As some of you may know, my incredible mum, Pauline was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in November 2019 after experiencing various symptoms over a couple of weeks. Thankfully, Mum didn’t suffer in silence and visited her GP as soon as she could and fortunately the Dr took her concerns very seriously. That day she was referred to the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford for further tests and scans and was admitted the next day after being told she had a mass in her pancreas. It was an incredible shock to us all but mostly to my mum. She was advised that the operation was to take place a week later and further treatment would be required post op and recovery. Mum was very fortunate to have caught these symptoms in their early stages and the operation was a success and the tumour had not spread. She had a very difficult road of recovery, with a few setbacks but she stayed positive, she remained hopefully and pushed through and so after a month in hospital we were able to get her home before Christmas. She is fighting this like a pro and myself and my family couldn’t be more proud of her.
She has started the next stage of fighting this disease with chemotherapy, having 12 sessions over 6 months. It is not going to be easy, but she will get through it just like she has done already. However, she cannot do it alone, so I am asking for your support as myself and Anna Ward are going to take on the CHALLENGE 24 to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK as statistics show 24 people die of pancreatic cancer each day.
We are going to complete 24 FITNESS CLASSES in 24 HOURS.
We would be so grateful for any donation whilst we complete these challenges to help all pancreatic cancer sufferers.

POSTPONED EVENT
Due to the current circumstances with Covid-19, we have had to postpone our event until Government Guidelines allow 6+ more people to be in an indoor space together. We did aim to host our Challenge 24 this month but due to the new changes we are going to have to hold off for now. However, your donations have not gone unnoticed! During lockdown, I challenged myself to my own Challenge 24 event on 31st May as this was the day we were supposed to be hosting our Challenge24 classes. I completed 24km through walking and running all over London/Surrey and I couldn't have done it without all your support, so once again THANK YOU ALL!
