Support my challenge to fight for a world without pancreatic cancer
This September, I'm walking 197km for the 197 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 7 days in the UK.
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.
Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 197km remember those we've lost, and stand with those affected by pancreatic cancer. My wonderful sister was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2023. Incredibly her cancer was found early and she is now in remission. The strength and resilience she showed throughout her treatment and that she continues to show is my inspiration for this challenge.

So I've ditched the bike in favour of walking to my jobs every day which is helping eat up the miles. (Though did have a fab bike ride on Sunday)
