This September, I'm walking 252km for the 84 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in the UK.
My lovely mum was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in may and i am walking in september for her and all the other warriors battling this awful cancer. I am so proud of my mumma!
With my mum living in france, it is so hard being so far away! But as we have always done, even before this, face time calls keep us close!
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.
Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 168km remember those we've lost, and stand with those affected by pancreatic cancer.

Im walking in september in support of my lovely mumma! She was diagnosed with stage 4 in may, already spread to liver, lung and lymph node. She had been feeling not too good for a couple of months, she put it down to the Diabetes (we know now why that wasnt being managed) and an accident a few years ago when she was knocked off her bike by a big car! But i think good news today. After a couple of months of chemo. Tumours in pancreas reduced by 25%. Liver reduced significantly some by 50%. Lung and lymph nodes disappeared. Walking in september for my mum!
