Clara’s Head Shave!

Hello all!!! 

Later this week I will be doing a sponsored head shave for Pancreatic Cancer UK. 

My time in med school has given me experience of how difficult a disease pancreatic cancer is. Despite being a fairly common cancer (10th most common in the UK), it has the worst survival rate of all cancers, due to it being recognised late, at a point when treatment will be less effective.

Pancreatic Cancer UK funds research, patient and family support, and information around the condition.

On the 27th July I will be shaving my head to a grade 2 or 3  (not quite the full Pitbull look), donating the hair to the Little Princess Trust who make wigs for cancer and alopecia patients as well as finding cancer research themselves.
