Remember September 2026

In loving memory of

Dad

24/10/1966 - 07/05/2026

Forever in our hearts, to the moon and back dad❤️

Support my challenge to fight for a world without pancreatic cancer

This September, I'm walking 84km for the 84 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in the UK.

Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.

Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 84km remember those we've lost, and stand with those affected by pancreatic cancer.

Please make a donation to support me, and together...

We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.

Dads story

My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer at the end of January 2026 and sadly passed away 7th May 2026. Such a short time to say goodbye without realising we were saying goodbye forever! Dad had 2 rounds of chemotherapy in order to fight but sadly dad developed jaundice which put a stop to chemo, without medical intervention dad wouldn’t be able to continue. Dad had a stent placed into his bileduct to help with the jaundice which started to help, however dad had to have his gallbladder removed due to gallstones forming. Dad sadly declined from here and never got better. My dad fought so hard and I’m so proud of him, I just wish we had more time!

Dear Caitlin, I am saddened to hear that your dad died. I was in a course at RAF Cranwell with him and (also being from the North East) we got on like brothers. I have such fond memories of our very short time together ( 1 week!) but I will treasure them always. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!
