I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
My sister and I are taking on the challenge of running a half marathon in support of pancreatic cancer research and awareness, in honour of our dad.
In February 2025, our dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Like so many families, we never imagined we would be facing something like this. Since then, we’ve witnessed firsthand the strength, courage, and resilience it takes to live with this disease, as well as the impact it has on everyone who loves someone affected by it.
Dad is full of life, he loves being active whether that’s in the gym, golfing or going on walks, when he started his treatment it was really hard to see the impact it had on him physically but its been truly inspiring to see that as much as it’s affected him physically his determination mentally and will power to fight this has been incredible to watch. His fight is the reason we are running.
Every mile we run is dedicated to raising awareness, supporting vital research, and helping bring hope to those affected by this devastating disease.
