Well guys I’ve completed the 300km in only 23 days which I’m chuffed about. I’ve been walking for the 197 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 7 days in the UK. My wife Eileen was one of those sad statistics.
I’ve also made my £1000 target thanks to your support. Thank you so much it means a lot.
Those who know me well also know how this affected our family when we lost Eileen in August 2019.
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.
Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.
So this September, I challenged myself and succeeded by walking 300 km, remembering those we've lost, and standing with those affected by pancreatic cancer.

Wow 300km completed in just over 3 weeks with 7 days to spare!!
Half way through
Wow so half way through the month and the challenge. Already 187km completed of the 300 km challenge. £825 + gift aid so far which is amazing but I so want to get to £1000 if I can. Walking for Pancreatic Cancer UK
My target was to walk 300km in September & my sponsorship target I initially set at £500. Due to your generosity I smashed £500 even before September began so I set a new goal of £750, & guess what……yes smashed that too, again down your amazing support! Well 231km done in September so far to 18/9 so well on target for the 300km. Due to your generosity I’ve already raised over £950. I initially targeted £500 but over time increased to £750 and latterly £1000. It’d be great to exceed the £1000 target but whatever we achieve thank you, my family and so many others have been affected by this awful disease so your support is invaluable 👍🏻x
