Amy's Challenge In Memory Of My Dad

By Amy Walker

I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

My Dad was diagnosed in November 2016 with this extremely cruel disease. It was a very tough journey and sadly he passed away on 29th October 2017.

Pancreatic Cancer has the lowest survival rate and it is so important to fund the research in the hope that one day it will change.

Pancreatic cancer is tough – tough to diagnose, tough to treat and tough to research. And, in the uncertain times we’re currently experiencing, things have become even tougher for people with pancreatic cancer.

I’m taking on Challenge 24 at home to raise money for this vital cause because 24 people are still dying every day from pancreatic cancer.

Please support me and my fundraising. Together we can make a difference and fund life-saving research.

My donations could fund...

4 hours with a nurse on our Support Line

or

2 hours of early diagnosis research

What I Will Be Doing...

November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month so I will be joining the 24 challenge!

I will be doing 24 minutes of different fitness activities every day for 24 days throughout November, for example - 24 minute run or a 24 minute HIIT workout.

This charity is extremely close to my heart and any support would be greatly appreciated.
