Amileigh's 24 Challenge

My target 24 mi

I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Pancreatic Cancer doesn't stop because of a pandemic! My stepgrandad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 5 weeks ago. Within those 5 weeks he's fought through dialysis, pain and many more complications. Unfortunately he cannot recieve the treatment for cancer and was transferred to a hospice upon his request. Though I may not be his granddaughter by blood, he and my grandma provided my brother and I with so many amazing memories in our easter and summer holidays growing up that I am forever grateful for?

I want to run (yes run...not my strong suit) a mile or more a day for 24 days as part of the 24 challenge to remind myself of his battle and bravery everyday. Please feel free to donate as much or as little in helping the world find a cure. Thank you!

My donations could fund...

28 hours with a nurse on our Support Line

or

12 hours of early diagnosis research

Dad always thought of you as his one and only granddaughter Amileigh and he held a very special place for you in his heart. He spoke of both you and Liam often and with great fondness. He'll be so very proud to see you running for pancreatic cancer. Thank you so much for raising all this money in his name and for his memory. It really means a lot xxx 💖
