This September, I'm walking 84km for the 84 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in the UK.
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.

 Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 84km remember those we've lost, and stand with those affected by pancreatic cancer.

Rudyard Lake

Target of 84km completed during this pleasant walk around the large lake that was the inspiration for Kipling’s parents.
Despite a downpour and dodging some cows blocking the path, it was enjoyable and plenty long enough to cover the remaining 6km.

Branston Water Park and Trent and Mersey canal

Another walk cut short by OS marked paths not existing… Staggering slowly to reaching my target!
Much nicer scenery than yesterday and who doesn’t love seeing someone working a lock 😀

Bidston Moss

Shorter walk than planned due to brambles and nettles making path impassable, but another 4km+ done.
No scenery to speak of and loads of motorway noise. We won’t be back.

Little Budworth Country Park and village

A bit longer than planned due to branch cutting and blocked paths, but every step counts!
Not my favourite walk of those I’ve done so far, but at least the weather stayed fine.

Wirral Country Park

Bit wet on the west side of the Wirral this morning, but still an enjoyable walk along the Dee and back round on part of the Wirral Way.
Lots of boats waiting for the tide to come in.

Delamere Forest

Very pleasant walk through the forest and around the mere. Perfect weather for walking.

Little Neston and Parkgate

An easier, but longer walk today from Little Neston, up past Parkgate and back. No stunning views, but enjoyable, even though I was banned from getting an ice cream ☹️

Thurstaston Common

Another walk with good views over the Dee and Mersey, as well as nice countryside

Bidston Hill

Short walk today, around Bidston Hill, taking our time to admire the views over the Mersey and Dee

Breezy New Brighton

Walk from Wallasey Beach along New Brighton front, down to Egremont and back. Could have done without the 30+ mph head winds for the last 2k though!
