Alex Coakley Mount Olympus run

By Alex Coakley

I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Ten years ago I lost my mother to pancreatic cancer. I haven't talked about it much over the years because I'm not very good at that sort of thing, but I have decided to mark the ten year anniversary of her death by trying to raise some money for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

I am planning on spending the first half of 2020 training for a race in Greece which involves a climb up Greece's tallest mountain, along with a bit of running around it. It will be a challenge, and I think it is a fitting way to remember her, as she spent her life challenging herself and those around her.

Pancreatic cancer is tough to diagnose, tough to treat and tough to research. Please support me and help make a difference to pancreatic cancer.
