I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK in memory of my brother Justin Standen.
We are Pancreatic Cancer UK.
I have been involved with the charity Pancreatic Cancer UK since I lost my brother Justin in 2018. Between family and work colleagues, we have raised thousands of pounds for the charity, through Cake Sales, sponsored cycles and walks, plus for the last 3 years the LSEG Customer Compliance Team have hosted an annual Bake Sale in our offices in Canary Wharf.
Today we do it again, and continue to raise awareness & much needed funds for an amazing cause, generously matched by LSEG!
We go above and beyond for everyone affected by this disease. Right now, half of people with pancreatic cancer die within three months of diagnosis. Families are left with only hope to hold onto. They need more. So, we do more.
The money and awareness raised helps to bring more breakthroughs through research, more change through campaigning, and more support through our expert nurses. We make more noise because people have gone unheard. We are relentless because the disease is ruthless. We care more because people feel forgotten.
