Remember September 2026

In loving memory of

Judith Hobbs

To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die

Support my challenge to fight for a world without pancreatic cancer

This September, I'm walking 84km for the 84 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in the UK.

Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.

Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 84km remember those we've lost, and stand with those affected by pancreatic cancer.

Please make a donation to support me, and together...

We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.

My first day was quite active (for me) its made me realise I should have picked a harder target mileage to meet. If I carry on at this rate I will reach my target km's by Friday.

Making this seem less of a challenge for me.

I also smashed my fundraising challenge today, so I decided to raise my target. Here's hoping it can happen again.

Good luck to all those walking the walk around the uk.

My Tribute Post

After losing our beloved Judith to this awful disease, then stumbling upon this page, this fundraiser, how could i not become another small drop in this pond called Pancreatic cancer research? Not only do i walk for you Judith, but i walk for ALL those loved ones taken away from their loved ones so cruelly.

My achievements

My updates

MY GAST HAS NEVER BEEN SO FLABBERED.

I have to say, I am absolutely blown away by the incredible support my donors have shown by sponsoring this walk.

If someone had told me six months ago that I would be walking 84 kilometres, I would have laughed in their face. But since joining my walking group and then discovering this appeal, I've never felt better, both physically and mentally.

Knowing that I'm doing this in memory of our beloved Judith makes every step even more meaningful and fills me with a real sense of pride and warmth.

After just seven days, I'm already approaching the halfway mark of my 84km challenge, which I'm incredibly pleased with. To top it all off, we've raised an amazing £1,040 in online donations, along with a further £350 in cash sponsorship.

Honestly, I'm struggling to find the words. Your generosity, encouragement, and support have been overwhelming.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Every donation, every message of support, and every bit of encouragement means more than you'll ever know. You truly are amazing.

Thank you to my sponsors
