I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
Hi everyone, I'm Abbie and this is something very close to home. For the last couple of months my family had a life change. My dad was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Cancer. Tumour on the pancreas affecting the spleen as well.
This is something that came as a shock, however, has been something that opened our eyes and made us think how things are tied to the signs and symtoms of this cancer.
I have made it my goal to raise early diagnosis funds, spread awareness and share our story through this. I will be running every day in November, one of my dad's favourite things to do is to remain active, so whilst he is fighting this battle I will keep moving. It will be challenging but I know whatever I do, my dad is working a lot harder.
