3 Tallest peaks and The West Highland Way

By Abbie Bellis Hollway

I'm fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Hi!! My cousin Tomos and I will be completing the West Highland way as well as the 3 tallest peaks sometime in Summer (Work holidays dependent)

If you don’t already know the West Highland Way consists of a 100 mile walk up through Scotland and includes 5 Monroes and is rated a moderate to difficult  hike. We will be walking from Milngavie to Loch Lomond all the way to Glen Coe finishing at Fort William. We will be camping along the way also.

We won’t be stopping there though we will then summit Ben Nevis this stands at a huge 4413ft. But this is just the start of another adventure we will then be off to the lakes! And here we will do a ‘quick’ summit of Scaffel Pike. Scaffel Pike stands at 3209ft and continuing down to North Wales to then summit Snowdon (Hopefully there’s no queue) this will be the last stop of our very long but very exciting journey.

All being well we will have -
Walked a total of 120 miles
Driven over 800 miles!!
But had a huge adventure for a very good cause and a cause very close to our family that had a huge impact not that long ago

Thank you for taking the time to read and we look forward to absolutely smashing the challenge.
