I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
After more than 30 years of membership, I have the distinguished honour of representing my golf club as Club Captain for 2021. It is a tradition at Sandford Springs for the Club Captain to nominate a charity for which to raise funds during his/her term and I have chosen Pancreatic Cancer UK.
It was my fathers sudden passing back in 2017 that has given me the inspiration for my choice . Very sadly we had only days with him following his diagnosis, this being one of the terrible characteristics of this form of cancer.
Let's see if we can buy some more time for others who have been affected by supporting this incredible Charity.
