Support my challenge to fight for a world without pancreatic cancer
In December 2025 I (Nick) was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer For the last 8 months I have been receiving treatment which has included 6 months of chemotherapy and 5 sessions of radiotherapy in the hope they can reduce and then remove the tumour.
Whilst I have generally responded well to treatment and coped with, at times, horrendous side effects I am still left dealing with Neuropathy which is a nerve damaging side effect affecting my hands and feet
This challenge will be a lot more difficult as a result but I believe in the cause and how much raising funds could help others like me
I have asked my wife Karen to join me in this challenge!
Therefore this September, we will be walking 100km for just shy of 100 (84) people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in the UK.
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.
Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.
So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 100km remember those we've lost, and stand with those affected by pancreatic cancer.
