Support my challenge to fight for a world without pancreatic cancer
In April I was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer!
Bit of a shock all round, but luckily it was caught earlier so I have a fighting chance to beat this.
I am doing alright and I have been going through Chemo and hopefully at the end of September I will find out if it has been working to reduce the mass, so we can find out what the next step of the plan is.
So, I'm challenging myself to get moving and walk a minimum of 84km this September and helping to raise funds to fight against this horrible disease.
If you would like to join me in walking, be it by yourself or join me on one of my walks, or if you are able to donate, I would be really grateful.
84 is the number of people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in the UK - I am determined not to be part of that statistic.
Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.
