I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.
As most of you know, in 2013, we lost our mum to pancreatic cancer. She was incredibly brave and fought the hardest I've seen anyone fight before, but unfortunately less than a year later, the disease claimed her. It's a story all too familiar for many people, as pancreatic cancer is one of the most difficult to diagnose, and usually by the time symptoms present, it's already too far gone.
This is why we have decided to take part in Challenge 24! We will swim/cycle 24 miles each to help raise funds for research into early detection of this horrible disease.
We will begin September 1st and before October 13th we will have acheived our goal hopefully with your donations to support our cause :)
(3 times per week minimum due to family/work commitments. Total 18 days)
Anything you can contribute, even if it's just £1 is greatly appreciated and goes a long way to helping say "We will not be beaten by cancer!"
