Remember September 2026

In loving memory of

Gladstone Hlalakuhle

To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die

Support my challenge to fight for a world without pancreatic cancer

This September, I'm walking 84km for the 84 people who die from pancreatic cancer every 3 days in the UK.

Pancreatic cancer is the deadliest common cancer in the UK.

Right now, 31 people are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer every day in the UK.

So this September, I'm challenging myself to get up, get moving and walk 84km remember those we've lost, and stand with those affected by pancreatic cancer.

Please make a donation to support me, and together...

We will remember them. We will honour them. We will fight for them.

My Tribute Post

I am walking in memory of my amazing husband Gldstone. He was diagnosed with the disease in Nov 2024 and passed away on March 2025. He only had 3cycles of chemo and couldn't finish the treatment because he was too weak and too much in pain. I will be thinking of him every step of the way and remembering other people that are affected by this horrible disease. I will try and walk as much as I can manage as I am not well myself, but I will do my best to try and raise money in the hope that one day there would be a way to detect this disease earlier. Miss him every day.
