Faster diagnosis to stop unnecessary deaths

By Tracie Jones-Davies

I am fundraising for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Ian passed away in February 2019 way too young. He left a young family who needed him around for longer, this was purely down to the fact that Pancreatic Cancer is hard to diagnose and treat. In November 2019 my second cousin died of it. It’s never on anyone’s radar until they have a family member die and trust me, die they will. 5 year survival rates are 6 in every 100 people diagnosed. We rank the 47th country out of 56 that have the poorest diagnosis and treatment. Therefore this year I've chosen to donate my Christmas to Pancreatic Cancer UK. Pancreatic cancer is tough to diagnose, tough to treat and tough to research. Please support me and help make a difference to pancreatic cancer. If everyone who reads this would donate the price of a Christmas coffee, a Christmas card or a mince pie, the cause will move one step further to being able to save lives instead of having to watch them slip away.

Thanking you for reading this and wishing you a very merry Christmas and a joyous New Year
